The goal of this project was to design a modern flower shop e-commerce experience that simplifies the gifting process. I wanted to create a website that makes buying flowers feel easy and enjoyable.
Users can either browse and purchase flowers directly or discover the perfect bouquet through an AI - powered recommendation quiz. The result is a clean and intuitive shopping experience designed for both desktop and mobile users.
I explored multiple photography studio websites to analyze how different sections were structured and presented. I focused on key elements such as the hero section, typography, services, about us content, process flow and contact experience.
A strong hero immediately sets the emotional tone. I was inspired by floral and e-commerce layouts, but focused on a bold title and striking bouquet imagery to make the first impression more memorable.
Inspired by how e-commerce layouts prioritize large product imagery and visible pricing, I designed the shop section to highlight each bouquet visually first, with price clearly displayed for faster decisions.
Inspired by moodboard-style layouts and visual storytelling, I designed a step-by-step flow with minimal text and supporting visuals for better clarity and engagement.
I translated the sketches into Figma wireframes, focusing on layout, spacing, hierarchy, and overall structure. This step helped define proportions, content distribution, and the placement of key elements like CTAs.
A minimal visual system built around natural tones and clean typography, focusing on consistency and reusable UI components.
The final UI brings together research, wireframes, and design decisions into a refined, production-ready interface focused on clarity and hierarchy.
This project helped me understand how e - commerce design works in practice, especially how to make product discovery simple, fast and intuitive without unnecessary complexity.
I learned how an e - commerce website functions and how to structure the flow so users can easily browse, scroll, and purchase products without confusion or extra steps.
Guiding users through ticket options I learned and found a solution for helping users who are unsure which flowers to choose by making the process easier, more intuitive, and free of barriers.
Building connection through performers I improved my understanding of spacing, padding, and typographic hierarchy to create a balanced, readable, and visually pleasant interface for users.
